CAFEZA Group wins highest scoring coffee
of the Cup of Excellence 2023
The CAFEZA Group won the highest scoring coffee in the Cup of Excellence 2023 in the “Via Úmida” category. The grains were produced at Rio Verde Estate (Ipanema Agrícola Group), in Conceição do Rio Verde (MG), for a value of 8 thousand dollars per bag.
“The CAFEZA Group emerged with the proposal to produce and obtain the best specialty coffees in Brazil and distribute them in Brazil and around the world. With the mission of becoming an internationallyrecognized brand, we participated in the auction to win a high quality coffee to place on the domestic and foreign markets”, thus making available all the care and care applied by the producer to the mug.
Internationally recognized as the largest specialty coffee auction in the world, the Cup of Excellence was held in Brazil, by the Brazilian Association of Specialty Coffees, entity BSCA, in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE).
The 30 winning lots in the three categories of the competition were put up for sale: “Via Seca”, “Via Úmida” and “Experimental”. The CAFEZA Group was the only Brazilian company to acquire a lot at the auction, which also included bidders from companies from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Bulgaria, China, South Korea, the United States, Japan and Norway.

Decaf multiGrãos is a special coffee where the caffeine extraction process is carried out using water. Its health benefits are the same as conventional coffees, but without the potential effects of caffeine, providing the same delicious flavor as other coffees.
Organic multiGrãos is a coffee certified by IBD, grown and processed in suitable soil, without agrochemical substances and with total quality control, providing a naturally delicious flavor.
Volcanic multGrãos is a coffee with well-defined characteristics of the “terroir” of a volcanic soil, coming from the caldera of a volcano that was extinct more than 80 million years ago, located between the south of Minas Gerais and the northeast of São Paulo. Flavor of yellow fruits, caramel and chocolate, full-bodied, citrusy and with a sweet finish.
